In this webinar, we take a closer look at staffing benchmarks for IT departments, exploring how benchmarking can serve as a tool for both cost optimization and strategic dialogue.

  • Cost-out perspective: Identifying overstaffing due to lack of task streamlining, missing automation, or misaligned skill sets.
  • Strategic dialogue perspective: Using benchmarks to support conversations with leadership when digital ambitions can no longer be delivered with the current FTE allocation — and when critical IT roles are being held back in operational tasks.

We’ll also walk through Zangenberg’s approach to staffing benchmarks and share real-world examples from a variety of clients.

Our method takes into account the types of tasks performed, their volume, and the complexity of the organization — often revealing both overstaffed and understaffed areas that need attention.
